For International Clients
One of the
most frequently asked questions that international users ask
is, "Do your servers support international domain names?"
The answer is yes!
Most of our international clients report faster server
speeds from our servers than from those located in their own
country! To use an international domain name with your Web
Site or Virtual Server, you can choose from the following
options:
1.) Your first option is
to register your international domain name with your
country's registration office using our name server
information. (See Below) This will allow us to host your
domain name on our name servers and point it to the IP
address of your virtual server. Please use the information
below for registration purposes:
Primary name server
domain: NS1.VITRONIX.NET
Primary name server IP: 209.51.141.58
Secondary name server domain: NS2.VITRONIX.NET
Secondary name server IP: 209.51.141.59
2.) Your second option
is to register your international domain name with your
country's registration office using your own or your
internet service provider's name server information. This
will allow you to do your own domain name serving. When your
order is processed, we will send you your IP address. You
can then configure the local name server to point your
domain name to this address.
3.)
Regardless of which country you're in, you can always
register a standard .com, .org, or .net.
Please see our
Domain Registering page for more details on this
International Domain Registries
Yes you may register international domain
names and use them with your Web Site or Virtual Server.
However, Vitronix.net Web Services cannot register these
names for you.
If you would like to use a foreign extension, you must
register the DNS in your country and do the following:
Locate the domain registry of the country domain that you
are interested in registering. Have the organization who
registers your DNS use our name servers so that our DNS
servers will handle all the DNS work for your Web Site or
Virtual Server.
The list below contains the English
country name, all in alphabetical order. The link takes you
